For Immediate Release
Plano, TX (August 5, 2021) – Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) today announced that CEO, Rob Davis of Critical Start was named an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2021 Southwest Award winner. The Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program is one of the preeminent competitive awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies. The award recognizes those who are unstoppable entrepreneurial leaders, excelling in talent management; degree of difficulty; financial performance; societal impact and building a values-based company; and originality, innovation and future plans. Davis was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was announced during the program’s virtual awards gala on August 4, 2021.
“What a true honor it is to have been recognized among such distinguished names,” said Davis. “During this time of ongoing uncertainty, there’s comfort in knowing entrepreneurial minds continue to persevere. As cyber threats remain an urgent priority for businesses across all industries, I’m proud to represent the Critical Start team and their steadfast commitment to challenging the cybersecurity status quo and delivering first-rate service to our clients.”
Critical Start offers managed security services including Managed Detection and Response (MDR), incident response, professional services, and product fulfillment; helping organizations prepare for, respond to and resolve breaches. It has built an expansive channel program, becoming the “go to” MDR vendor for more than 50 partners supported by a robust team of alliance experts. Critical Start is the only MDR provider committed to eliminating acceptable risk and leaving nothing to chance. Its award-winning portfolio includes end-to-end Professional Services, with its MDR strategies putting a stop to alert fatigue.
For 35 years, EY US has honored entrepreneurs whose ambition, courage and ingenuity have driven their companies’ success, transformed their industries and made a positive impact on their communities.
